A Trio of Powell Speedway Advertising Courtesy Passes, 1950 - A trio of advertising courtesy passes for automobile races held at Powell Speedway in Powell, Ohio, during the 1950 season. The track is noted as being located on State Route 750, miles east of the Columbus, Ohio, Zoo. The collection includes passes for Big Car, Roaring Roadsters, and Stock Car events, with some sanctioned by the Central States Racing Association (C.S.R.A.). The items are printed on various colors of cardstock, including orange, light green, and cream. Each pass includes specific event details such as dates (April 23, May 7, and May 28, 1950), time trial schedules, and admission terms. The passes retain their original perforated stubs. The reverse of the orange pass features handwritten names and addresses for Bud Shuff of Tampa, Florida, and Harry Weimer of Indianapolis, Indiana.
