Vintage Speedway Souvenir Checkered Race Flag - A vintage souvenir racing flag featuring a black and aged cream checkered pattern. The center of the flag displays a red-bordered oval graphic with an illustration of an early-style open-wheel race car. The printed text SPEEDWAY SOUVENIR encircles the central illustration. The flag is made of a lightweight fabric attached to a rectangular wooden dowel. This design is frequently attributed to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy 500 race, specifically from the mid-20th century. Flag: 15 by 18 inches Dowel: 28 inches.
