This piece is attributed to The American Historic Society based on the markings within the included presentation box. The obverse features a portrait of Benjamin Franklin and is stamped with the year 2000, 4 TROY OUNCES, .999 FINE SILVER, and the serial number 36418. The design incorporates elements of the 100 dollar bill, including the Treasury seal and facsimile signatures of Mary Ellen Withrow and Robert E. Rubin. The reverse depicts Independence Hall as it appeared on contemporary currency. The bar is presented in its original blue case with a white satin-lined interior.
