This lot features three 2017 Canadian 8 dollar silver bullion coins, part of the Wildlife Series. Each specimen is struck in .9999 fine silver and weighs 1 1/2 troy ounces. The obverse features the Susanna Blunt effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with initials SB at the neck truncation. Obverse inscriptions include ELIZABETH II, 8 DOLLARS, and D. G. REGINA. The reverse displays the Pierre Leduc grizzly bear design, showing a bear on a rocky outcrop with the designer initials PL. Reverse inscriptions include CANADA 2017, FINE SILVER 1 1/2 OZ ARGENT PUR, and 9999 purity. A micro-engraved maple leaf security mark is present on the reverse field. Both faces are finished with a background of fine radial lines. The coins have reeded edges and are presented in protective plastic capsules with white gaskets.
