An Assortment of Antique Tin Coal Miner Squibb Cases and Straight Razors - An assortment of vintage industrial mining equipment and personal grooming tools, featuring several tin coal miners squibb (fuse) cases and multiple straight razors with their associated protective cases. The squibb cases are constructed of folded tin or similar base metal with telescoping lids; several retain dealer tags identifying them as mining artifacts. The straight razor collection includes examples with manufacturer markings including Clauberg Bros of Solingen, Germany, and Wade & Butcher of Sheffield, England. Tang markings include Lion Brand. Razor scales vary from plain black and cream-colored celluloid or bone to a decorative set featuring relief-molded classical figures and floral motifs. The razors are accompanied by their original leatherette-covered cardboard slipcases, some bearing manufacturer branding and Famous Keen Shaving Razor text. Squibb cases: 5 inches to 13.5 inches in length. Straight razors: approximately 6.25 inches in length (folded). Burns in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, May 28 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
