Antique Wooden Utility Boxes comprising a Farrier's Tote and a Lidded Storage Chest - This lot features two 19th-century wooden utility containers. The first is an open-top farrier's tool tote finished in an aged blue paint. The interior contains a tiered wooden divider section with a group of separate compartments. The second item is a larger lidded storage chest with a heavily weathered dark gray finish. This chest is constructed with square nails and features a hinged lid secured by metal strap hinges with reinforcement cleats on the underside. It retains its original metal lock mechanism and is accompanied by a rusted iron skeleton key. The interior of the chest reveals unfinished natural wood boards.
