Primitive Wooden Items, Single-Board Washboard and Red Painted Divided Carrier - This lot features antique primitive wooden utilitarian objects. The first item is a single-board washboard, constructed with a wide wooden backboard and a series of horizontal wooden slats forming the scrubbing surface. It includes a small circular hanging hole near the top center. The second item is a divided utility carrier featuring a group of interior compartments and a central handle with an integrated hand-cut grip. The carrier retains significant traces of an old red painted finish. A small metal skeleton key is included in An of the carrier's compartments. Both pieces demonstrate characteristic early 20th-century construction and exhibit a naturally aged patina. Washboard: 18 inches x 12 inches Carrier: 15 inches x 10.5 inches.
