1978 Tonka Bell System Utility Service Bucket Truck - This vintage utility service truck was manufactured by Tonka Corp. and features a pressed steel cab and rear body with a plastic chassis and components. The vehicle is designed as a Bell System service truck, finished in a light tan and gray color scheme with blue, yellow, and white striped decals and the Bell System logo on the sides. The truck is equipped with a manual rotating and elevating boom arm made of plastic. The front grille features an embossed Tonka logo, and Tonka decals are present on both cab doors. The underside of the rear plastic platform bears the embossed marks TONKA, TONKA CORP. 1978, and MADE IN U.S.A. The wheels are black plastic with white hubs and are molded with the tire specification MR-970. This model is missing the worker bucket attachment that would originally have been secured to the end of the boom. Length: Approximately 14.5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
