Antique Glass Electrical Insulators Including a Hemingray No. 60 Mickey Mouse Style - antique mold-pressed glass electrical insulators. The first is a Hemingray No. 60 transposition insulator, also known as Consolidated Design (CD) 230. This model is commonly referred to by collectors as the Mickey Mouse style due to the distinctive twin-eared crown. It is composed of a deep peacock blue or dark aqua colored glass. The insulator features a double-skirted body and a base with sharp drip points. Embossed markings on the skirt read HEMINGRAY and NO 60. The second is a beehive-style insulator (CD 154) composed of light aqua green glass. The skirt features an embossed diamond mark attributed to the Diamond Glass Co. This item remains mounted on its original wooden threaded mounting peg.
