Vintage Colonial Revival Cast Aluminum Town Crier Wall Plaque - This cast aluminum decorative wall plaque depicts a colonial-era figure, possibly a town crier or night watchman. The figure is rendered in 18th-century attire, including a tricorne hat, a frock coat with detailed buttons and pockets, ruffled cuffs, breeches, and buckled shoes. The figure is depicted in a dynamic pose, holding a raised lantern in his right hand and a handbell in his left. The piece is sand-cast with a flat, hollow-back design and finished in black paint. A small circular hole is present at the top of the hat for mounting purposes. This object is consistent with Colonial Revival decorative items produced in the United States during the mid-20th century. No maker's marks, foundry stamps, or model numbers are visible on the front or reverse. Height: 15.5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
