A Trio of Mid-Century Western and Wildlife Metal Relief Wall Plaques - This lot consists of pieces of mid-20th-century metal relief wall art featuring Western and wildlife motifs. The largest piece is a rectangular brass plaque depicting an eagle with outspread wings. The figure is rendered using hand-hammered repousse and stippling techniques, with feather details defined by rows of small, punched dots. A small red bead is inset for the eye. The reverse side features a hand-written inscription in the lower-right corner that appears to read Bushnell followed by Oct 19 69. The second piece is a wood-mounted metal relief plaque featuring a bucking stallion in high relief. The background is finished with a heavily hammered, peened texture. The metal is mounted to a square plywood backing and includes a hanging wire. The third piece is a small copper relief plaque depicting a profile portrait of a Native American man in a feathered headdress.
