An Extensive Collection of 20th Century American Ephemera Including Advertising Magazines and Ohio Regional History - This lot comprises a diverse assortment of 20th-century American paper collectibles with a focus on commercial advertising, agriculture, and Ohio regional history. Significant advertising pieces include lithographed cardboard point-of-sale displays for Ball-Band Rubber Footwear such as a die-cut Boy Proof Weather Proof sign featuring a pair of booted legs and an advertisement for Ball-Band Arctics. Wolverine shoe advertising is present through a comic-style informational insert and a Sportmaster Boots promotional card. Magazines in the collection include multiple issues of The Saturday Evening Post dating from 1942 to 1959 featuring cover art by Dick Sargent and others.
