An Assortment of Cincinnati Reds and Pete Rose Books and Publications Featuring Attributed Autographs - This collection consists of a group of books and printed media documenting the history of the Cincinnati Reds and the career of Pete Rose. A primary highlight is a 1970 first printing of The Pete Rose Story: An Autobiography, which contains a flyleaf bearing multiple attributed signatures, including those of Pete Rose and Hall of Fame manager Sparky Anderson, alongside other names such as George Culver and Jay Ward. The lot also includes a 1977 edition of The Royal Reds: Baseball's New Dynasty featuring an inscription and signature attributed to Pete Rose in red ink and a signature with a HOF 03 inscription attributed to Hall of Fame sportswriter Hal McCoy. A copy of Charlie Hustle (1975) is present with an attributed signature from Pete Rose. Further titles in the collection include Reds in Black & White (1999) by Greg Rhodes and Mark Stang, Opening Day (2004) by Greg Rhodes and John Erardi, Hustle by Michael Sokolove, and My Prison Without Bars by Pete Rose. One volume, Pete Rose: Celebrating a Cincinnati Legend, remains in the original publisher's shrink-wrap. The publications are presented in various formats, including hardcovers with dust jackets, trade paperbacks, and spiral-bound guides.
