An Assortment of Cincinnati Reds Baseball Memorabilia and Promotional Ephemera - This collection features an assortment of Cincinnati Reds baseball memorabilia and promotional ephemera spanning from the early 1970s through 2020. A primary highlight is a flattened 1992 Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes cereal box, 25 oz size, featuring Tony the Tiger in a Cincinnati Reds jersey with a promotional offer for MLB team decals. The group includes several unused food packaging items, specifically multiple Marty and Joe’s kettle-cooked potato chip bags and a Grippo’s Bar-B-Q potato chip bag. Notable documents include a typed letter dated December 14, 1973, on Cincinnati Reds letterhead from team President Robert L. Howsam addressed to San Diego Padres President Buzzie Bavasi, and a handwritten note on team stationery signed by former owner Marge Schott. The lot also contains a 1975 Spring Baseball Clinic certificate featuring printed facsimile signatures of the Big Red Machine era roster, including Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, Tony Perez, and Sparky Anderson.
