Large Neoclassical Style Oval Wall Mirror with Gilt and Milkpaint Finish - A large, ornate oval wall mirror featuring a heavily detailed molded frame in the neoclassical style. The frame incorporates scrolled acanthus-style leaves, stylized rose blossoms at the cardinal points, and shell-like lunette patterns, finished with a beaded inner border. The frame features a multi-toned antiqued finish consisting of a sage green wash over a dark reddish-brown base with hand-applied burnished gold leaf highlights. The frame surrounds a beveled mirror plate. The reverse retains an original paper instructional label titled About Your New Wall Decor which states the finish was created using all-natural milkpaint and real gold leaf. The back is fitted with two metal D-ring hangers for horizontal mounting. Width: Approximately 34.375 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
