A Two-Piece Set of Oscar Bach Style Cast Metal Telephone Cabinet and Chair - This lot consists of a demi-lune pedestal cabinet and a coordinating side chair in the Renaissance Revival style, attributed to the studio of Oscar Bach. The cabinet features a cast metal frame with twin doors decorated with ornate openwork panels depicting putti and floral swags, set against a red fabric backing. The cabinet is surmounted by a semi-circular slab of light green and cream onyx with brown veining. The matching side chair features slender, twisted metal uprights and an ornate cresting depicting a central fleur-de-lis flanked by crowned dragons. The chair back panel and seat are upholstered in red velvet, with the seat finished in a long gold-colored tassel fringe. No maker marks are visible. Cabinet: 30 inches H x 18 inches W x 9 inches D Chair: 35.5 inches H x 11.5 inches W.
