A Pair of Royal Haeger Green Drip Glaze Gazelle Vases, Model R 707 - A pair of earthenware vases by Royal Haeger featuring high-relief figures of gazelles integrated into tall, stylized vessel forms resembling reeds or tall grass. One vase depicts a standing gazelle with tall horns, while the other features the animal in a dynamic leaping pose. The vases are finished in a vibrant, high-gloss variegated green glaze. The flaring, rectangular rims transition into a blue-teal drip effect. Parts of the glaze exhibit a subtle pearlescent iridescence. The underside of the first base is incised with ROYAL HAEGER, R 707, and U.S.A. The second base features similar incised markings including ROYAL HAEGER and U.S.A., with the model number partially obscured. Both bases also contain illegible handwritten blue ink notations. Height: 11.5 inches. You must come pay, load and remove during the pickup window of Friday, June 5 from 11 am to 4 pm at the home in Canal Winchester, OH. No exceptions! You don’t have to take it all, just what you want. No sales tax collected on this auction.
