A Group of Five Vintage Red Metal Coolers and Ice Transport Equipment - This lot consists of five pieces of vintage mid-20th-century ice storage and transport equipment. Included is a Poloron Products, Inc. Cola Cooler, which features a red-painted metal exterior, fiberglass insulation, and a galvanized metal interior. The front is stenciled with white text identifying the brand and the manufacturer locations of New Rochelle, New York, and Scranton, Pennsylvania. Also included is a red metal Cooler Chest featuring a white stenciled stylized script and a graphic mascot depicting a person in a parka. A specialized Ice Pal transport sled manufactured by Lake Mfg. Co. of Lansing, Michigan, is included, featuring red-painted side panels, a silver-painted metal frame with runners, and an attached pull rope. The interior of the sled contains wooden slats and a circular cutout on one end panel. The collection is completed by a pair of matching small personal-sized coolers featuring polished metal corner guards, wire bail handles, and white plastic interior liners. Ice Pal Sled: approximately 15 inches wide by 18 inches long. You must come pay, load and remove during the pickup window of Friday, June 5 from 11 am to 4 pm at the home in Canal Winchester, OH.
