David Fisher for Austin Productions, Infinity Carp Cast Sculpture, 1985 - This modernist cast composite sculpture by David Fisher for Austin Productions depicts two stylized carp or koi fish in an interlocking circular composition. The work is finished with a dark, wood-like patina that highlights the textured scales and fins. The name FISHER is incised on the side of the lower fish. The manufacturer mark AUSTIN PROD INC 1985 (c) is present near the base of the figure. The sculpture is mounted on a rectangular black-painted plinth. The construction appears to be Durastone or a similar plaster-based composite material. 14 x 15 x 6 inches.
