Large Carved Ironwood Roadrunner Sculpture on Rock Form Base - This large-scale decorative sculpture depicts a roadrunner in a dynamic, forward-leaning pose. The piece is hand-carved from a dark-stained, dense wood, likely ironwood, featuring a prominent and deeply textured grain pattern that defines the head crest and feathers. The bird is supported by two thin metal rod legs mounted onto an irregular, rock-form base. The base appears to be made of a composition material or stone with a dark-toned finish and metallic gold-colored highlights. The underside of the base is finished flat with four black felt pads. A small rectangular paper label is affixed to the bottom, though the characters are not clearly legible.
