A Set of Uranium Jadeite Style Beehive Kitchen Glassware - Attributed to the Jeannette Glass Company in the Beehive pattern, this set of opaque green kitchenware is crafted from pressed glass. The collection comprises shakers and bowls of different sizes. The shakers are finished with black block lettering reading SALT and PEPPER and feature a characteristic horizontal ribbed design. The glass contains uranium oxide, which causes the pieces to fluoresce intensely neon green when exposed to ultraviolet light. The bowls have subtle concentric rings molded into the exterior. All pieces have smooth, molded bases and no pontil marks. This style of glassware was popular in American kitchens during the mid-20th century. Shipping Available.
