An Assortment of Vintage and Mid-Century Glass and Mixed Media Christmas Ornaments - This collection features a wide variety of vintage and mid-century glass Christmas decorations. Included are numerous blown and molded glass ornaments in diverse forms such as spheres with indented reflectors, hand-painted globes with mica and glitter accents, and silvered glass shapes. Figural examples comprise molded Santas, textured pinecones, clusters of fruit, and birds featuring spun-glass tails. Notable inclusions consist of a set of four iridescent rainbow-tinted glass bells in a cardboard mount, several plastic diorama ornaments shaped like lanterns or eggs containing miniature holiday figures, and a molded glass souvenir ornament themed for Florida with sun and orange motifs. A boxed set of star-shaped fiber decorations with red bead centers is also present. The metal caps on the glass ornaments vary in design; while consistent with manufacturers such as Shiny Brite and European makers from Germany and Italy, no specific maker marks are clearly legible. Construction techniques observed include free-blown glass, mold-blown forms, and multi-part assembly for diorama pieces. Shipping Available.
