An Assortment of Vintage Tin Lithograph Globe Banks and a Replogle Tabletop Globe - This collection consists of various vintage globes, featuring several tin lithograph still banks and one traditional tabletop model. The large 8-inch standard globe was manufactured by Replogle Globes of Chicago, Illinois, and is mounted on a stepped wooden base with a metal time dial at the North Pole. The assortment of banks includes multiple examples from the Ohio Art Company of Bryan, Ohio, as identified by the manufacturer logo on the globes. These banks are constructed of lithographed tin-plate and feature coin slots located at the top. Decorative elements on the banks include diverse cartographic styles; some feature a multi-colored base ring with a zodiac and monthly calendar, while others display red circular bases with white lithographed thrift slogans such as Bank As You Save - So You Prosper and As You Save - So You Prosper. One brown base is marked Childhood Association. The globes depict political boundaries and geographic features typical of mid-20th-century American production. Replogle globe: approximately 8 inches in diameter. Tin banks: spheres range from approximately 3.5 to 5 inches in diameter with total heights between 4 and 6 inches. Shipping Available.
