A Collection of US Eisenhower Centennial and 1971 Proof Silver Dollars - This collection features United States Eisenhower silver dollars in original government packaging. The lot includes 1990 Eisenhower Centennial silver dollars struck at the Philadelphia Mint, indicated by the P mint mark. These coins are struck in 90 percent silver and feature a dual-profile obverse design depicting Dwight D. Eisenhower as a five-star general and the 34th President. Inscriptions include EISENHOWER CENTENNIAL, LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the dates 1890-1990. These coins are housed in blue velvet-lined presentation cases with white satin interior lids, blue outer sleeves, and Certificates of Authenticity. Also included are 1971 Eisenhower proof silver dollars struck at the San Francisco Mint, indicated by the S mint mark. These are 40 percent silver and feature the standard profile portrait of Eisenhower. They are presented in original brown box style hard plastic holders within wood-grain finish outer boxes featuring a gold-colored Great Seal of the United States. 1990 Silver Dollar: 38.1 mm diameter, 26.73 grams, 0.900 silver 1971 Silver Dollar: 38.1 mm diameter, 24.59 grams, 0.400 silver.
