A Collection of US Mint Sets, Coin Folders, and Banknotes, 20th-21st C. - A collection of United States Mint uncirculated coin sets, partially filled collector folders, and various banknotes. The set includes uncirculated coin sets from 2009, 2021, and 2022, each containing Philadelphia and Denver mint specimens in original government packaging. The 2009 set is the multi-coin uncirculated version featuring the Lincoln Bicentennial cent varieties. Also present is a 2020 George Herbert Walker Bush Coin and Chronicles Set including a silver medal, bronze medal, reverse proof 1 dollar coin, and a postage stamp. An Abraham Lincoln Presidential Collection folder contains two 1 dollar coins. Two Whitman coin folders are included: Jefferson Nickels Number 9009 (1938 to 1961) and Lincoln Head Cent Number 9030 (starting 1941), containing various circulated specimens such as 35 percent silver wartime nickels dated 1943 and 1944. Banknotes consist of three US 1 dollar silver certificates with blue seals (Series 1957), a US 1 dollar federal reserve note (Series 1969), three US 2 dollar United States notes with red seals (Series 1953), and two US 2 dollar federal reserve notes with green seals (Series 1976). A Japanese 1000 Yen banknote issued by the Bank of Japan features the portrait of Natsume Soseki (Serial RE125305J). Materials: Copper, nickel, zinc, silver, bronze, and paper currency.
