A Collection of US Lincoln Cents in 2x2 Flips - This lot consists of a large collection of US one-cent coins, primarily featuring the Lincoln Wheat and Lincoln Memorial designs. The coins are organized individually in cardboard and plastic 2x2 flips. Identified dates and mint marks include 1951, 1951-D, 1951-S, 1953-D, 1956, 1956-D, 1957-D, and 1958-D. The collection includes examples from the 1950s, a period predominantly featuring the Wheat Ears reverse design by Victor David Brenner. Also present is at least one 1975-S Lincoln Memorial proof cent and a zinc-plated steel cent, likely from the 1943 issue. The obverse of all coins features the profile of Abraham Lincoln. Metal compositions include copper-tin-zinc (bronze) and zinc-plated steel. various flips feature handwritten identifications in blue ink. Burns in-house shipping is available.
