A Pair of Weller Pottery Dachshund Figural Planters - This pair of ceramic planters is produced by Weller Pottery. Each piece is modeled in the form of a dachshund with a hollowed-out back, designed for use as a small planter or trinket dish. They are crafted from earthenware with a matte honey-tan glaze. Hand-painted decorative details include black pupils, dark brown accents on the ears and tails, and a distinctive red band across the bridge of the snout. The smaller figure features an incised script mark on the base reading weller. The larger figure features an incised script mark on the base reading Weller Pottery, accompanied by a small, hand-painted black mark. Smaller dachshund: Approximately 5.5 inches in length Larger dachshund: Approximately 8.5 inches in length. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Friday, June 26 from 10 am to 5 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
