A Trio of Rossini Glazed Ceramic Decorative Objects - This lot features a collection of three mid-century modern style glazed ceramic items, all bearing the impressed sunburst mark with a stylized R attributed to the importer Rossini. The first item is an oval-shaped planter decorated with a relief-molded design of a walking lamb on the front and back, flanked by five floral bosses. The narrow ends feature a stylized tree or plant motif. It is finished in a high-gloss tan and brown glaze. The second item is a stylized figurine of a seated bear with its head bowed. This piece features a dark brown high-gloss glaze with distinctive metallic gold-tone mottling. The base includes a copyright date of 1994 and model number 6485. The third item is a figurine of a seated elephant with its trunk raised, finished in a tan and brown high-gloss glaze consistent with the planter. All three pieces are slip-cast ceramic and include various impressed marks such as Roman numerals and model numbers on their bases.
