A Collection of Weller Pottery Roma Pattern Art Pottery Items - A collection of American art pottery items manufactured by Weller Pottery of Zanesville, Ohio, in the Roma pattern. This group consists of glazed earthenware pieces featuring a cream or light tan body decorated with relief-molded and hand-painted floral motifs. The decoration includes clusters of stylized roses in shades of pink and red with green leaves, often accented by light blue ribbon-like swags. The collection includes two triple-bud vases of horseshoe form with rose garland borders, a two-handled urn-style vase with vertical ribbon swags, a tapered conical wall pocket with a hanging hole on the reverse, a small two-handled vase with a flared base, and a fan-shaped bud vase featuring an open lattice-work back and floral garland. Bases feature incised marks reading WELLER in either block letters or script. One piece retains an old paper label and a museum collection sticker.
