Roseville Pottery Console Set in the La Rose Pattern - This console set is manufactured by the Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio, in the La Rose pattern, which was introduced in the early 20th century. The pieces are crafted from earthenware with a textured cream-colored ground, often referred to as a scaly or orange peel finish. The decoration consists of embossed green laurel-style swags tied with blue ribbons and accented by pink rosebuds. A coordinating green geometric border is featured along the rims and the base feet of each item. The set includes two jardinières of graduated sizes, two bridge-form double candle holders, and two columnar single candle holders. Each piece is marked on the underside with a small blue underglaze stylized letter R.
