A Collection of Decorative Miniature Trinket Boxes including Limoges and Kelvin Chen - This collection features miniature decorative trinket boxes of varying styles and materials. Included are two hand-painted porcelain boxes from Limoges, France. The first is modeled as a three-tiered pink birthday cake with brown and white decorative frosting and gold-tone accents, featuring the script Happy Birthday in gold on the middle tier. It has a bow-shaped metal clasp and contains a hand-painted gift box on the interior base; it includes a separate porcelain candle accessory. The underside is marked Peint main Limoges France Eximious. The second Limoges box is a limited edition numbered 8 of 250, featuring a decorated Christmas tree on a yellow gift box base with a Santa Claus clasp. The interior features hand-painted fir branches and an original paper label for Puy de Dôme Porcelaine. The underside is marked Puy de Dôme 8/250 Peint main Limoges France DZ. The set also includes a ceramic box realistically modeled as an Oreo chocolate sandwich cookie with a hand-painted bitten cookie design on the interior. The underside is printed with Nabisco trademark information and attribution to Midwest of Cannon Falls. The fourth item is a miniature enamel-over-metal teapot attributed to Kelvin Chen, featuring a yellow ground with floral accents on the handle, spout, and removable lid. The body panels depict a colorful flower cart under a green sun umbrella, and the interior is finished in light blue enamel.
