A Trio of Weller Pottery Tutone Pattern Earthenware Bowls - This is a trio of antique American art pottery bowls produced by Weller Pottery in Zanesville, Ohio. The pieces are constructed from earthenware and feature the Tutone pattern. Each bowl has a shallow, circular form with a cream-colored ivory ground. The exterior and interior are decorated with hand-painted stylized floral motifs, scrolls, and feather-like patterns in a palette of brown, green, and blue. Each bowl features an incised script mark on the base reading Weller Pottery along with hand-painted brown initials N.C. for the decorator. Three kiln stilt marks are visible on the underside of each base from the manufacturing process. Diameter: 8.5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Friday, June 26 from 10 am to 5 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
