A Collection of American Art Pottery and Mid-Century Planters Including Weller, Shawnee, and Robinson Ransbottom - This group contains pieces of 20th-century American art pottery and decorative ceramics. Featured items include three pieces from Weller Art Pottery: a mottled blue earthenware vase with a flared rim and three stylized feet, marked Weller on the base; a tapering cream-colored vase decorated with applied blue and pink ceramic beads and a relief rose, marked Weller on the base; and a small dark blue bowl with three feet and hand-painted floral details, also marked Weller. The collection includes a Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co. peanut-shaped planter with a brown glaze and textured exterior, marked R.R.P.CO. U.S.A. 1208-8 ROSEVILLE O. Also included is a Shawnee Pottery boat-shaped planter with a pink interior and black linear doodle pattern, marked Shawnee USA 1028. Additional pieces comprise a large scalloped bowl with a pink interior, a cream-glazed pitcher with hand-painted brown and blue Art Deco geometric patterns, and a shaded green to cream vase with a hand-painted lily spray.
