A Collection of Weller Pottery Clinton Ivory Line Art Pottery - An assortment of pieces of American art pottery produced by Weller Pottery of Zanesville, Ohio, specifically from the Clinton Ivory line. This collection includes various forms such as jardinieres, bowls, a hanging planter, and a tall vase. Each piece is constructed of glazed earthenware featuring a matte cream or ivory-toned glaze. The decorative relief patterns are accentuated with an antique brown or sepia wash applied to the recesses to define the molded designs. Decorative motifs across the collection include vertical foliate bands, panels of relief oak leaves and acorns, stylized narcissus flowers, and other floral patterns. various pieces bear visible maker marks including an impressed Weller Pottery arc mark and impressed block letter Weller marks. One piece retains a retailer label from Just Art Pottery.
