Antique Molded Green Glazed Ceramic Architectural Tile Fragment - An elongated architectural ceramic fragment, likely a decorative tile trim or part of a structural element. The piece is constructed from a reddish brown earthenware or terra cotta body, molded into a series of graduated rounded humps or segments creating a rhythmic, stylized spine or wave silhouette. It is finished in a thick, vibrant green lead type glaze. The underside and one vertical end face are covered in a heavy layer of white mortar or plaster residue, indicating its original installation. The form is characteristic of late 19th or early 20th century decorative building materials, potentially used as a fireplace surround edge or a roof ridge ornament.
