An Assortment of American Art Pottery and Decorative Ceramics Including Roseville and Weller - This lot comprises an assortment of American art pottery and decorative ceramic items, featuring pieces by Roseville and Weller. Included are two Roseville vases, a Roseville wall pocket, a Weller floral bowl, and a large relief-molded hanging planter. The large deep bowl is constructed of earthenware with a vibrant green glaze. It features a scalloped rim with four small circular holes for hanging. The exterior is decorated with a repeating relief-molded pattern of large floral blossoms separated by vertical fluted columns. The item is unmarked. A squat bulbous Roseville vase is finished in a tan crackle glaze. It features relief-molded stylized leaf motifs around the shoulder. The base bears a circular sunburst-style mark with a stylized R in the center, the letters XLV, and the shape number 6632. The small turquoise Roseville vase has a flared rim and a wide neck with scroll motifs. The ribbed bulbous body is decorated with relief-molded stylized floral elements. The base bears a circular sunburst-style mark with a stylized R, the characters XLVI, and the shape number 645-3. The shallow Weller bowl features an inverted rim and is finished in a heavily crazed ivory glaze. The interior is decorated with hand-painted floral designs in pink, green, and black tones. The base is impressed with WELLER in block type. The small semi-circular wall pocket or stoup is finished in a white glaze and features a simple raised cross on the front face. The reverse bears a circular sunburst-style mark with a stylized R and the letters UV.
