A Collection of American Art Pottery Including Weller Bonito and A.M.B. - A collection of American art pottery featuring various vessels and flower frogs. The grouping includes hand-painted earthenware flower pots in the Bonito pattern by Weller Pottery, characterized by stylized foliate and floral motifs in blue and green against a cream-colored ground with orange and blue horizontal bands at the rims. The larger pot and a medium pot with a matching saucer exhibit semi-circular impressed marks reading WELLER POTTERY. Also included are three relief-molded square planters in the style of Weller Pottery, featuring floral rose motifs at the corners, tapered block feet, and beaded borders. These planters are finished in a cream glaze with tan-to-brown shading and include one separate, darkly stained rectangular ceramic liner insert. Two low earthenware vessels by A.M.B. Art Pottery are present with coordinating removable flower frog inserts. The round green vessel features a floral relief pattern and is impressed on the base with 19 A.M.B. 21. The square purple vessel features a deep maroon drip glaze over relief-molded stylized figures or foliage and is impressed with A M B on the base.
