An Assortment of Weller and Rookwood Pottery Candle Holders - This collection consists of American art pottery candle holders produced by the Weller and Rookwood pottery companies of Ohio. The group includes three double-light candelabra by Weller Pottery, each crafted from glazed earthenware with stylized organic scrolling arms and a relief-molded foliate base. These pieces are finished in a semi-gloss cream-colored glaze and feature the incised cursive Weller Pottery mark on the underside. Also included are two single candle holders from Rookwood Pottery. The first is model 6532, featuring a flared, trumpeted base with molded foliate details and a matte cream glaze. Its base is impressed with the Rookwood flame mark, the Roman numerals XLVII dating it to 1947, and the model number 6532. The second Rookwood piece is model 2981, characterized by a low-profile circular base and two small C-scroll handles supporting a central candle cup. This holder is finished in a matte cream glaze and bears the Rookwood flame mark, the Roman numerals XXX dating it to 1930, and the model number 2981.
