A Collection of Weller Pottery Bonito Hand-Painted Floral Art Pottery - An assortment of pieces of American art pottery from the Bonito line produced by Weller Pottery of Zanesville, Ohio. This collection is crafted from earthenware featuring a cream-colored crackle-glaze exterior and a contrasting vibrant green glazed interior. Each piece is decorated with various hand-painted underglaze floral and foliate motifs, including lilies, pansies, daisies, and scrolling leaf patterns. The forms in this lot include one large ovoid vase with scrolled handles, one large low bowl, one large flared vase with scrolled handles, two tapered vases with flared pedestal bases, one cylindrical jar/planter, two pitchers with varied handle styles, two small handled jars, one small footed vessel, and two small open jars. Visible markings on the bases include incised script for Weller Pottery, a green ink stamp with the words WELLER POTTERY in an arc above a stylized kiln logo, and various hand-painted painter marks including E.C., H, 4, 15, and X.
