Antique Singer Model 66 Treadle Sewing Machine with Red Eye Decals, Circa 1922 - This antique Singer Model 66 treadle sewing machine is finished in black enamel with the ornate multi-colored Red Eye decal pattern, also known as the Tiffany pattern. The machine head is constructed of cast iron and is identified by serial number G9359738, which confirms a 1922 production date at the Singer Manufacturing Company factory in Elizabethport, New Jersey. The machine is set into an original wooden treadle cabinet featuring side drawers with turned wooden knobs and a hinged extension leaf. It is supported by a black-painted cast-iron treadle base with an openwork lattice design and the Singer name embossed on the central support. The machine retains its original handwheel, bobbin winder mechanism, and a leather drive belt.
