Oscar Schmidt OB-5 5-String Resonator Banjo with Gig Bag and Accessories - This Oscar Schmidt OB-5 5-string resonator bluegrass banjo features a mahogany neck and resonator with a high-gloss sunburst finish. The resonator is finished with ivory-style binding and black purfling. The instrument is constructed with a 30-bracket chrome-plated tension hoop, a chrome armrest, and a chrome tailpiece. It features a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard decorated with pearloid floral and snowflake-pattern inlays. The headstock displays a gold Oscar Schmidt script logo and a decorative floral inlay, with a black bell-shaped truss rod cover marked OB-5. The banjo is equipped with four geared tuners with pearloid buttons and a geared fifth-string peg located at the fifth fret. The 11-inch frosted head is stamped with the Remo Weather King crown logo and includes the text Banjo Head Only, Made in U.S.A. Included with the instrument is a red nylon soft-sided gig bag with a black interior, a brown padded shoulder strap, a Third Hand Capo in its original box manufactured in DeKalb, Illinois, and a small plastic bag containing three spare bridge or nut components.
