Alvarez Artist Electric-Acoustic Violin with Case and Accessories - An Alvarez Artist Electric Violin, likely model V303, dated June 12, 1985 on the internal label. This instrument features a traditional acoustic body construction with a spruce top and maple back and sides, finished in a warm amber and reddish sunburst. The fittings consist of an ebony fingerboard, pegs, and chin rest, as well as a black metal tailpiece equipped with four fine tuners. This model is designed for amplified use, featuring an integrated pickup system with a single volume control knob mounted on the lower treble bout and an output jack on the lower rib. The interior paper label features a stylized central A logo and reads Alvarez Artist Electric Violin. The outfit includes a wooden bow with a stick stamped MADE IN KOREA. It is accompanied by a black hardshell case with a green plush-lined interior, a 1/4 inch instrument cable with a right-angle plug, a block of Paganini violin rosin, a black practice mute, and a Lewis Gold Label string packet.
