Vintage Full-Size 4/4 Violin with Bow and Case - This lot features a vintage full-size violin presented for restoration. The instrument is constructed with a two-piece flamed maple back, matching maple ribs and neck, and a fine-grained spruce top. The fingerboard and tuning pegs are crafted from ebony. No internal labels, stamps, or maker marks are visible through the f-holes or the damaged section. The instrument is currently unstrung with the fingerboard, bridge, chinrest, and an ebony tailpiece featuring four fine tuners all detached. The interior of the detached top section reveals three diamond-shaped wooden cleats from a previous repair. Included is a wooden bow and a vintage black hardshell case with a purple velvet-lined interior. Body Length: 14 inches Overall Length: 23.5 inches Lower Bout Width: 8.25 inches.
