Westinghouse MRF400 400-Watt Mercury Vapor Industrial Floodlight on Pedestal Floor Stand - This is a vintage industrial floodlight manufactured by Westinghouse, model MRF400, configured as a floor-standing lamp. The fixture features a large rectangular cast metal housing, possibly aluminum or a similar alloy, mounted on a pivoting steel yoke that allows for adjustable vertical aiming. The housing contains a polished metal interior reflector and is protected by a clear tempered glass lens held in place by a gasketed metal frame. The unit is embossed on the exterior with Westinghouse and SUITABLE FOR WET LOCATIONS. The fixture is mounted on a tall vertical pole set into a heavy circular weighted cast iron or steel base. Inside the housing, a technical identification plate lists the following specifications: Style No. 394P 857G28, 120/240 line volts, 480 line V.A., H33 lamp type, and 400 lamp watts. A secondary label confirms it uses a 400-watt mercury vapor lamp. The unit includes an internal regulated ballast and is equipped with a side-mounted Intermatic K4521 photo control unit for automatic dusk-to-dawn operation.
