A Collection of 12 Vintage and Contemporary Wristwatches Predominantly by Timex - This collection consists of 12 wristwatches, the majority of which are produced by the brand Timex. The assortment includes a variety of movement types, including mechanical automatic, mechanical manual-wind, analog quartz, and one digital LCD model. Mechanical examples include a Timex Automatic featuring dial markings 10763 3271, a Timex Self-Wind with a date window at the 3 o clock position, and a gold-tone Timex Waterproof model. The quartz selection features several Timex Indiglo variants, a Timex Q model with a French movement, and a silver-tone watch branded TIME with a Japanese movement. A black plastic digital world-time sports watch with multiple complications and an auto-calendar is also included. Case constructions are primarily silver-tone and gold-tone base metals with stainless steel backs. Dials are largely white, silvered, or gold-tone, utilizing a mix of Arabic numerals and stick indices. Mounting includes five metal expansion bands in gold and silver tones, one black rubberized sports strap, and two leather straps, with four watches presented as case heads only. Transcribed markings include references to CR 2016 cells, French and Japanese movements, and assembly in the Philippines and Taiwan. Case sizes range from approximately 30mm to 38mm. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
