A Trio of Large Vintage Industrial Pipe Taps including Besly and Greenfield - This collection consists of three heavy industrial pipe taps used for cutting internal threads. The first tap is manufactured by Besly and is marked 2 - 11 1/2 NPTF, indicating a 2-inch diameter with 11.5 threads per inch for National Pipe Taper Fuel standards. It is made from high-speed steel and carries the code M2B3. The second and largest tap features a six-flute design with no clearly legible maker's marks on the shank. The third tap is marked Greenfield and includes the GTA crown logo, stamped Made in USA. All three tools are constructed from high-speed steel with square drive ends and fluted cutting surfaces. Largest tap: Approx. 6.75 inches L x 3.5 inches D Medium Besly tap: Approx. 5 inches L x 2.375 inches D Smallest Greenfield tap: Approx. 4.25 inches L. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH.
