A Collection of Vintage and Contemporary Metal Oil Lanterns Including Dietz and Lamplight Farms - This collection of oil lanterns features various models primarily manufactured by Dietz. The group includes a Dietz Vesta railroad style lantern marked NEW YORK U.S.A. on the metal chimney and the glass globe. Also included is a large galvanized No. 2 Blizzard lantern marked DIETZ N.Y. U.S.A. with early 20th-century patent dates embossed on the air tubes. The contemporary portion of the collection includes a blue painted metal Dietz No. 90 D-Lite lantern marked MADE IN CHINA on the base and a blue Dietz No. 1 Little Wizard lantern marked MADE IN HONG KONG on the base. A green painted metal lantern is marked LAMPLIGHT FARMS LAMP OIL and MADE IN CHINA on the base. All pieces are constructed from metal with clear glass globes.
