Native American Style Loom Woven Beaded Pouch with Fringe - This object is a loom-woven beaded flat pouch with an integrated strap and fringe, displaying geometric motifs characteristic of Native American beadwork from the Plains or Great Basin regions. The construction utilizes glass seed beads in opaque blue, translucent red, and translucent clear tones, woven together with cotton thread. The main body of the pouch features a central red and blue hourglass or X-shaped motif on one face, while the opposite face presents a stepped geometric design. The long, loom-woven strap is decorated with a series of small blue and red cross motifs. The bottom of the pouch is finished with ten strands of beaded fringe. The interior is unlined, revealing the reverse of the woven beadwork structure. Body: 3 inches x 3 inches Total length: 16.5 inches. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
