A Collection of Antique Early 20th Century Laundry Equipment and Wooden Utility Tubs - A collection of early 20th-century household utility items including a mechanical washing machine, a hand-cranked clothes wringer, and multiple wooden stave tubs. The washing machine consists of a cylindrical metal tub with a domed lid, supported by a metal frame, and bears a manufacturer's label for Laun-Dry-Ette. The clothes wringer features wooden rollers mounted within a decorative cast iron frame and is operated by a long manual crank handle. The collection also includes several wooden stave-constructed tubs reinforced with horizontal metal bands. One tub features a circular metal lid, while another includes a circular wooden lid with a central vertical handle.You must come pay, load and remove during the pickup window of Thursday, July 9 from 10 am to Noon in Athens, OH.
