A Collection of Antique and Vintage Dolls, Doll Parts, Textiles, and Decorative Items - This lot comprises a variety of antique and vintage dolls, restoration components, textiles, and decorative objects. Included is a large German bisque doll head featuring incised characters 142 11 on the reverse of the neck, with open eye sockets and painted facial details. A Minerva metal shoulder head is present, marked with raised lettering on the breastplate and featuring painted blonde hair and blue eyes; this item is accompanied by a typed informational note identifying it as a German-made head sold by A. Vischer and Company circa 1894. A second German bisque head features a blonde wig, open mouth with visible teeth, and sleep eyes, with the reverse incised 9 Hathaway Germany. Other heads include a composition head marked 1912-4 with reddish-painted hair and a smaller bisque head with a brown wig marked 39. The lot also features a composition doll dressed in a green satin-style gown with a mohair wig and sleep eyes. Textile items include a large woven tapestry depicting an eighteenth-century courtyard scene with dancers and musicians, and a red paisley patterned shawl with fringe. A crescent-shaped wooden tray with a dark red finish and Asian-inspired floral and bird motifs is included, featuring a metal latch marked PATAPLFO. Additional items consist of a cast iron fireman figure, a separate spoked wheel, a composition toddler body, and assorted small celluloid and plastic infant dolls.
